My client is one of the largest house builder in the UK.  In just under 70 years they have built over 100,000 homes.  It has enjoyed sustained growth, and is recognised throughout the industry for its regeneration capabilities. In 2014 it sold 6,851 homes and they sell primarily in the private market and trades nationally in areas of high population. The Region:



Reporting to the Technical Director who joined as the Head of Technical before being promoted. His experience coverers roles with two well-known organisations in the industry. The housebuilder operates from 18 regions and this particular region is the most profitable responsible for circa 20% of the overall profits of the company working on 15/20 live developments of high rise RC frame construction in London turning over circa 1000 units a year.  They have an extensive investment bank and buy to build operating as a short term developer. With a young, dynamic driven team currently in place this region would suit an entrepreneurial individual looking to go the extra mile. This particular individual is required to work on some low rise developments however will move onto more challenging jobs within their specialist high rise portfolio in due course.


This particular region is renowned for internal promotions and progressing it’s individuals. The CEO was previously the Technical Director; The Technical Director was previously their Technical Manager and recently promotions have been made to coordinators with circa 9months experience who are progressing vastly.

This particular region is looking to open a new office in the next couple of years in London which means lots of new career opportunities will be on offer for the expanding business.


About the Role:


You will work within a Technical team of 13 including Architects; Engineers and Utilities Managers so will be heavily supported. Your challenge will be to oversee circa 2/3 live developments of high rice RC frame construction potentially including a brand new development including the demolition and redevelopment of a site to comprise 600units.



The successful candidate must have the following:


  • Currently live and work in the UK
  • Have a full UK driving license
  • Good communication and people skills


The ideal candidate will:


  • Have a relevant qualification or degree
  • Exposure within a similar role
  • Technical building and construction knowledge
