About the company:

The company is an award winning family owned property development specialist with over 35 years’ experience focusing on high quality desirable homes in London & the South-East. This small – medium company is full of ‘people’s people’ with a friendly and welcoming sociable atmosphere where repeat business is at the center of their business. They offer a stress fee service to their clients and work on a partnership basis to ensure the end product is as desired. With 4 divisions within the group this role is for the development arm focusing on Affordable Housing; Housing Associations and Local Authorities building long term relationships with a £60m turnover. Their largest scheme has just been handed over which was a £22m scheme comprising 155 units.

Due to successful growth they are due to relocate to their new offices in the next couple of weeks!

About the role:

This is an exciting period of growth for the business who have recently employed a Head of Technical to manage the Technical team of whom you will be reporting too. The team consists of the Head of Technical, 3 Technical Managers, and a Technical Assistant & Document Controller. To implement a defined structure to the Technical Team they wish to employ a Technical Coordinator who in future will be able to progress through the ranks. You will be assisting the Technical Managers working alongside them whilst also being responsible for your own projects dependent on your experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation in their new offices as the sole Technical Coordinator for the business unit!

About the requirements:

  • A proactive, self-motivated and consciousness individual with a stable career history
  • In depth knowledge of the Architectural and Engineering aspects of housebuilding
  • Knowledge of Refurbishment works would be a great advantage
  • A perceptive individual who, through a natural diplomacy, can influence people in a changing environment.
  • A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organized and can operate independently under a broad direction.
  • A team builder who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the Company and outside.
  • A broad thinker who can take a global view and has an inherent ability to ‘get the job done’.
  • Residential experience either with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer
  • Degree Qualification or equivalent

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector. In this instance they are looking to pay up to £45,000 basic plus package. The package includes:
