Site Manager – Cut & Carve, Retained Façade

Our client was formed 10 years ago by a group of highly experienced construction leaders with backgrounds in private and public sector new build and refurbishment contracts. Working on complex central London buildings varying covering mansion houses, commercial office space, prime residential and hotels, their enviable track record is based on expertise, experience and responsive environment. The Role

High end residential represents a core market for our client, and recent successful contracts have led to our client winning a number of high end residential refurbishment and new build projects. Therefore they are looking for two Site Managers to manage projects in Central London with values £10-20m. These are commercial / residential mixed use that comprise of basement digs, retained facades, structural alterations.

  • Direct and manage Engineers, Foreman
  • Make management decisions pertaining to project issues with minimal supervision throughout the project
  • Demonstration of strong Commercial awareness
  • Planning of construction
  • Client liaison
  • Manage and instruct the project staff and ensure duties are completed to the highest standards.
  • Overall responsibility for the completion of projects on time and budget
  • Manage day to day operational duties.
  • On-going efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Build, grow and develop business relationships for the success of the project
  • Provide feedback and record information from the project for continuous staff development.


Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £50,000 – £65,000. In addition to this you will receive a generous benefits package including Car Allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Bonuses. Suitable candidates will have a strong background in Main Contracting. You will be experienced in management of new build and refurbishment projects in excess of £10 million and ideally with experience in mixed commercial and residential cut and carve project. The candidate will have top 50 contractor experience. The individual will be highly motivated, idea-driven and capable of exceeding expectations.
