About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of an award winning team; my client is looking for a Site Manager who has excessive experience working in internal and external works.  They want someone who is hard working, highly organised, structured and has the ability to work from their own initiative. If successful you will be site based in Lambeth working on an external refurbishment project of a 12 storey block replacing; windows, doors and balconies. You will be accountable for:

  • Running the site from setup to completion, controlling all aspects of site operations

 

  • Overseeing and being responsible for the co-ordination of sub-contractors, their works and programme.

 

  • Controlling and managing the delivery of works in accordance with site documentation

 

  • Co-ordinating progress meetings and liaise with other member of the team and the clients representatives, producing weekly progress reports.

 

  • Weekly site meeting to discuss progress on site and conducting site inspections of sub contractor’s work

 

  • Liaising with the head-office team to ensure problems are resolved quickly.

 

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the workforce, site welfare and health safety and environment.

 

  • Quality control of sub-contractors delivery, so that the project meets a high standard and meets the specification.

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Must have at least 3- 5 years recent, solid experience as a Site Manager on regeneration projects.
  • Must have a natural attention to detail and a strong personality/character

 

  • You must be able to own problems and be capable of managing day to day without supervision

 

  • Candidates must have strong communication skills

 

  • Someone to go the extra mile
