About the Company:

Our privately owned client, who has been established for over 40 years, is a leading name within the demolition industry, with a group annual turnover in excess of £50M, and solid plans in place for growth over the next 5-10 years. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, groundwork’s, temporary and permanent works and current projects range in value from £500K to £10M.

About the position:

As a Senior Engineer you will be expected to support the Project Manager with a variety of tasks including the basics of quality control, temporary works, health & safety and supervising the setting out engineers. If candidates show the right level of drive and technical ability, career progression opportunities will be available in the near future.

The Requirements:

Candidates must be degree qualified in civil engineering / structural engineering and must have a strong, stable career in the RC frame, groundwork or demolition subcontract sector of construction. Post graduate experience needs to be a minimum of 3-5 years and individuals must be based within 1 hours commute from Birmingham. Key experience MUST include:

  • Setting out
  • Temporary Works
  • Façade Retention
  • Bulk Excavations

About the Salary / Package:

For this role we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum plus package / benefits.

Of course the above figures are rough guidelines set out by our client. If the perfect person comes along, these may be flexible.
