Services Manager – CAD

Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Services Manager who has strong CAD Skills. 

About the Company:

Our client is a well renowned construction company who are at the forefront of specialist restoration and change of use residential developments. They have been in business since the 1980’s and are continuing to expand their business with great success within this niche area. They mainly specialise in restoration and conversion work on Grade listed buildings into high specification apartments, duplexes and traditional mews houses. Developments are nationwide ranging from small niche to 400 unit projects, with current projects in Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Edinburgh and Bristol.

About the Role:

Our client is recruiting for a very unique position in the business which is designated to fast track graduate construction professionals into leadership roles within a highly successful Contracting/Development business. Within this role you will work alongside the Services Manager to assist on projects throughout the the UK, with a focus on the South West, being based from their Essex office.

The role encompasses the design, installation and maintenance of essential services and equipment across listed buildings that are being converted into residential units, including:

  • Water, gas and electricity supplies
  • Lighting, heating and air-conditioning
  • Security systems
  • Lifts and escalators

Strong IT skills are also required to help keep on top of all paperwork associated with the job. Requirements:

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification in building services / construction in a and have some initial exposure to working in the construction industry coupled with a keen interest challenging heritage projects. The candidate will ideally

  • Based in the Bristol area / be able to commute across the South West & South Coast
  • Ideally have a 2:1 related building or services degree
  • CAD qualified
  • DNO / IDNO experience preferable
  • Willing & flexible with staying away and travelling
