Senior Site Manager – Residential Build

Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare

The Company

Our client is a well renowned family owned construction group who operate across London and the South East. They have been in the construction business for over 40 years and have a well-preserved reputation employing approximately 500 personnel. Our client is continually growing and adapting to the market’s needs. They offer a range of services across three defined divisions, new build residential, contracting and social housing/maintenance. Current & recent projects include and a £100m residential new build project across 4 phases and years and a £9m 51 low rise unit development. Other projects include new building for LA’s and a £5m new build college in East London.

The Role

They are excited to be recruiting a Senior Site Manager for a Residential new build project in New Southgate. The division has an excellent reputation for having the ability to deliver diverse residential projects, with recent contracts being delivered using RC Frame, Steel and Timber Frame and Brick and Block methods.

You will be responsible for contracts values between £5m and £20m.  Duties will include but will not be limited to:

 

  • Report to Contract Manager
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely, to programme, to budget and in accordance with all design standard
  • Ability to manage the internals/fit out teams
  • Residential construction experience
  • Management of sub-contractors
  • Maintain quality control procedure
  • Liaise with clients as a representative of the company
  • Manage all aspects of health and safety compliance including carry out risk assessments, ensuring staff are fully compliant with current Health & Safety expectations and standards and within company policies.

 Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £60,000 – £65,000 In addition to this you will receive a generous benefits package including Car Allowance, Pension & Healthcare. Requirements

CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and previous experience on major construction projects with a stable career history. Ideally, you will have finishing and internals fit out experience.
