About the Role:


We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to lead a new build residential project in the North London area. This project consists of high rise blocks of mixed residential properties up to 900 units in total. Areas covered during the course of this project are; demolition, piling, basement excavation and construction, RC frames, internal and external building work.


Main duties include the overseeing and management of the project using internal labour, outside agency staff and Sub-contractors. Other responsibilities include review of Sub-contractors method statements, weekly progress report to the Construction Director, and liaising with Architects, Designers, Buyers and Sub-contractors.


Daily duties, in summary:

  • Creation and editing of programs through Asta Powerprojects
  • Work cohesively with the Commercial Manager to ensure the project is profitable
  • Implement and maintain company strategy and polices for sustainability, health and safety, quality, environmental, training and development throughout project
  • Manage full end to end project life cycle
  • Ensure project team complies with the company’s business management system
  • Show proactiveness in the resolution of problems throughout the project
  • Review methods of working and alternative materials in order to maximise commercial profitability
  • Manage, support, mentor and counsel members of the project team in their personal development




The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in residential contracts and experience working on RC Frames. Ideal projects exposure working on large multi-storey developments as this project consist of residential blocks up to 30 storeys high also the candidate should provide a proven track record in managing large onsite teams.


You will need to be capable of managing the project on a day-to-day basis without supervision, be highly motivated, idea-driven and be capable of exceeding expectations. Lateral thinking and highly developed problem-solving abilities should be coupled with a very strong project background.


About the benefits and reward:


The specific salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related roles and projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and intends to offer a basic salary between £85,000 and £95,000 plus a package that will include a car/car allowance and petrol card, healthcare benefits and more.
