The UK Construction team is going to be a massive focus over the coming months and years, and they are looking for high quality construction professionals with long term career development in mind to join their London based team. About the Role: 

Our client are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to work as number 1 on a super high spec project in Central London. The project consists of a 10 storey new build residential scheme of outstanding studio, one to four bedroom apartments and penthouses with dedicated amenities level. Also boasts a private garden court with over 800 sq. metres of landscaping. The successful candidate will be comfortable working as a No.1 Project Manager on project of a similar size to this. The successful candidate will execute the designated projects, to the agreed programme, with the highest regards to health, safety, environmental and quality standards expected by the client and company, and the financial performance budgeted by the company. They will be fully accountable to for the delivery of the project in relation to: Health and Safety, Program, Quality, Cost, Satisfaction of Client and fully accountable to company policies and procedures.


Key Tasks and Activities Include: 

  • To establish and maintain the best relationship with the client, through and beyond construction, to satisfactory completion, and to deliver improved value to the client and company.
  • To effectively establish and manage the health and safety plan, the environmental plan, and the project management plan.
  • To effectively establish and manage the target Design Procurement and Construction Program.
  • To manage the design with the assistance of the Design Manager and to interrogate the design for alternative methods of work, alternative materials and improvements to ‘build ability’.
  • To manage the procurement with the assistance of the Project Quantity Surveyor.
    To manage the work on site with the assistance of the Site Manager or the Engineer in Charge.


About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a salary circa £85,000 to £95,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.



Candidates must have extensive industry experience, directly relating to High Spec hotels and residential projects, and must be commercially focused. They must be easily able to manage motivate their team. They must show the contractual knowledge to identify risks and opportunities with client and subcontractors and have the ability to programme the works and identify key interfaces, risks and opportunities in the construction process.
