About the role:

My Client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor that can work across sites in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and other northern home counties. The candidate will need to have a good understanding of building legislation, building materials and design. They will also need to be able to deal with contractual and legal matters as well as manage cost to make sure that the initial budget is not exceeded.

About the benefits:

The exact salary will be dependent on the level of experience the successful candidate has and the sort of projects they have worked on in the past. The company will be offering a very competitive salary of up to £55,000 plus various benefits relating to bonuses, travel and healthcare.


The client is looking for the successful candidate to be a well-established Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 7 years industry experience and that can meet and exceed the requirements of a an assistant QS. A handful of previous employers is a must.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to

·Site measurements and measurement from drawings

·Assisting the Site Manager

·Pricing variations and scope changes

·Complete responsibility for all sub-contract commercial and contractual management

·Fulfilling administration duties i.e. recording progress, taking photographic records

·Completing cost and value reports for each project and submitting to the commercial director on a monthly basis
