About the company:

A private specialist Construction Consultancy based in Canary Wharf, East London with a large client portfolio covering unique projects with high end private residential schemes. Working in Partnership with their key clients, this Consultancy was essentially created to help property businesses to provide effective cost solutions for property development projects across London.


Our client is well positioned to provide core skills related to the development and construction process in-house. However it is far from operating as an office-based consultancy. The Construction Contracting background of our client’s leadership team means that advice is provided on all aspects of project delivery including design, buildability, programming, contracting, quality control, construction defects and contract dispute resolution.


About the role:

Our client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and immediately add value on contracts across their high profile blue chip clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career with a niche and well-respected Consultancy that will provide work on a high quality portfolio of projects, reporting directly to the Managing Partner.


As a Project Quantity Surveyor you will be involved in a range of pre and post contract surveying duties, including budget estimating, preparation of tender documents, reporting on tenders, assembly of contract documentation, cost reporting, interim valuations and agreement of final accounts.


About the benefits and rewards:

The salary will be dependent on experience and level of sector knowledge, however our client will offer a base salary in the region of £60,000 – £70,000 + package.

About the requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the private Residential sector in a Quantity Surveyor capacity. You will be Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS or CIOB accredited), and ideally 6 years post graduate industry related experience.


You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing projects and acting in a client-facing capacity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work will be key.
