About the company

The group are a family owned company based in South West London that have been committed to serving the construction industry for 40 years. The company initially concentrated on supplying labour to the construction industry and then focused on local civil engineering contracts, providing expertise for public utilities such as gas, water, sewers, highways drainage and ducting for the electric and telecommunications industry.

About the role

Due to the company continuing to expand they are looking for a Project Manager to look after multi water and waste water projects within London. Responsibilities will include, the delivery of developer Services Major Projects (water and waste), ensuring compliance with their procedures to deliver world class health, safety, environment and wellbeing performance. You will be involved in providing leading customer service and satisfaction, delivering operational objectives to support the client in meeting their performance commitments and achieving high levels of compliance with Water UK performance metric targets. The successful candidates will also be involved in supporting the maximisation of cash collection & margin whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with the client through collaboration.

The successful candidate is in charge of reducing the number of complaints, improve street works performance, ensure projects are delivered on time and seek to continuously improve operational performance.

The relevant projects will all be within water and waste water throughout London. All the projects are high volume low cost works.

About the requirements

  • Institute of Leadership & Management Level 5 or equivalent
  • Formal project management qualification
  • Proficient in MSProject or equivalent
  • NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction)
  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • Service Avoidance

The successful candidate will need to have at least 8 years’ experience working within utilities (preferably water and waste) and at least 4 years working within
