About the Company:

The newest arm of one of the UK’s largest and most established Construction Firms with in house expertise in piling, M&E, reinforced structure, pre-cast elements, facades and glazing, dry-lining, craneage and scaffolding and boasting a group annual turnover in excess of £220m. About the Role:

The role of Project Manager is to plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality.

The Project Manager is expected to maintain the company’s standard of work in all duties, especially to manage Clients expectations so as to create a professional and positive perception.

You will have overall responsibility for the successful project delivery;

  • Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over
  • Review of the Scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required.
  • Better buying of all packages, in line with company policy
  • Issuing technical submittals of all Equipment / Packages
  • Issue all programmes pre construction
  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
  • Quality control
  • Sub-Contractor management
  • Procurement
  • Commissioning and handover


Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have 5 Years’ experience of managing Mechanical + Electrical Installation projects
  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
  • Major projects experience would be preferred of £2m mechanical package value and above.
  • You will have a proven track record of successfully carrying out a similar role.
  • Strong Commercial acumen, with a knowledge of commercial accountability on previous projects
  • Longevity demonstrated through previous employment


About the Benefits and Reward:

  • Salary range from £50,000 to £65,000 dependant on experience
