About the company:

Our client is a medium size specialist Consultancy providing Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Contract Administration to a large client base across the UK, specialising in the Private Residential, Commercial, and Retail Mixed Use sectors.

Currently working on a variety of development programmes across London and the Home Counties, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager with Contracts Administration experience to deliver multiple New Build projects for their impressive, reputable client base.


About the role:

Our client is actively recruiting an experienced Client side Project Manager with experience of Contracts Administration or working as Employer’s Agent to lead on delivering major projects up to the value of £100m, principally working hands on for private sector clients. The role will entail the management of multi-disciplined teams, implementing procurement strategy, and working collaboratively with the client in a proactive way. The role requires a good understanding of Construction cost and value, as well as a thorough understanding of the Contracts Administrator or Employer’s Agent role, pre and post contract.

For this particular position the salary will be dependent on level of experience and market knowledge, however a range of between £65,000 and £70,000 can be expected.


About the requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience of managing the financial aspects of a project, with good working knowledge of project management tools and techniques, relevant construction contracts and experience in Programme Management. You will demonstrate an understanding of current and innovative procurement routes including joint venture management, value management and value engineering, particularly in a residential context. A natural ability to develop new business would be ideal for this role, either through repeat business or the development of new clients. Sector knowledge of Private Residential and Mixed Use will prove highly advantageous.
