£45,000 – £70,000 + package (dependent upon experience)

Our privately owned client who is based in Central London is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £70M. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, earthworks and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust.

About the position:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, as an Asbestos Project Manager you will initially be based on a large-scale technical project in Central London with a programme duration of 2 years.
You will develop and maintain high standards of operational service delivery whilst maximising growth potential in addition to delivering financial and non-financial business objectives from contractual requirements and plans.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Produce contract programmes of works from contact /construction information.
• Ensure on time delivery within budget forecasted costs.
• Ensure all works carried out comply with current H&S and environmental legislation.
• Ensure objectives are set and performance is measured through appraisals and regular reviews.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports for external client meetings.
• Prepare monthly internal performance review reports for Directors taking full responsibility for all operational and commercial elements of the particular contract.
• Ensure all client expectations are either met or exceeded.
• Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the client.
• Manage productivity of the contact / site team.

About the requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background within the asbestos sector and this must have been gained whilst working for a contractor in the UK. As this is a permanent position, my client is looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 2 years.

About the salary / rewards:

For this permanent position we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £45,000 – £70,000 per annum however specific salary will be defined upon experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered; travel allowance OR company vehicle in addition to standard benefits.
