About the company:

Our privately-owned client is a leading name in the Piling Industry. Based in Manchester they are an award-winning Piling contractor that has over 35 years of business. Their services include Retaining Walls, Underpinning, Sheet Piling and CFA Piling. As a company they have a turnover of £50M.

They are currently involved in several residential projects which has at least 5 years to go and a combined value of £15M. Over the last 10 years they have been accredited some prestigious awards including health and safety.

About the position:

Based upon current and anticipated workload, our client is recruiting permanently for a Piling Project Manager. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the technical, operational and commercial aspects of all piling projects. Whilst ensuring they are managed within time and budget. Besides that, you will have a clear understanding of the value of the contract and its duration. As well as a good understanding of the client and project expectations/ requirements.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have a degree / HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline (geology, construction management or civil engineering).

Furthermore, individuals must have a proven track record in the delivery of foundation projects in a city environment and should have extensive knowledge of Piling construction techniques. Given this is a senior position, my client is targeting individuals with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within piling and this must have been gained in the UK.

As this is a permanent position, it is vital that candidates can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each appointment for a minimum of 3 years.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this position, we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum. This will depend on experience and suitability. There will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
