Our client is a privately owned, award winning remediation contractor who has over 20 years proven experience in providing specialist advice and undertaking quality site investigations and remediation projects. Operating across the UK with their office based in Surrey, this client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, retailers, government departments, and land and property owners.

About the role:

Due to a health pipeline of work and the securement of flagship contract exclusively for 1 year, my client is recruiting permanent for a Land Surveyor to be based initially on a large remediation contract in Hampshire which will involve 100,000m3 earthworks, ex-situ bioremediation, screening, and asbestos in soils.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out surveys of the site; setting up and maintaining GPS equipment; downloading models from CAD drawings; calculating earthwork quantities; and carrying out as built surveys on site to name just a few duties.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent position, we are targeting Land Surveyors looking to earn anywhere from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer (a fully expensed company van or travel allowance) in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, individuals must hold a degree in civil engineering, land surveying or similar and hold a minimum of 3 years proven experience of working in this position with a reputable civil engineering subcontractor in the UK. Additionally, you must have a good understanding of surveying technologies, be proficient in Excel and CAD and hold a full UK driving license
