About the Company:

This Company are a well-established 360 construction enterprise who work exclusively on behalf of a single luxury hotel operator, building and maintaining a vast portfolio of luxury hotels in London and throughout Europe. This independent company work both as a Developer and Main Contractor, buying land and building the hotels themselves, keeping a lot of the work in house and only sub-contracting smaller packages out to preferred companies. This keeps a high level of control on both the quality of the build and the commercial aspects of the projects, with the managers working closely together throughout the process of each project to bring the project through on time and in budget. This unique company have already handed over in excess of 10 500+ room hotels to their client in the last 16 years since the inception of business, and they currently have a number of 4* & 5* new build hotels that are nearing completion, as well as plans for numerous refurbishments of existing hotels and new build projects to come.

About the Role:

This high spec hotel operator are seeking a well experienced, hotel specialist interior designer to join their in house team to work closely with the group owner on the design of finishing details across the groups London hotels, managing events focussed finishing in the hotels lobbies. The individual will work with the owner, the head designer and other members of senior management, delivering themed hotel lobby spaces to match events locally to the hotels including race days, sports events, themed parties and holiday seasons.


Candidates must have an excellent eye for detail, having spent an extensive period of time working for a similar hotel operator, ideally with experience of managing similar projects. They must be able to show a creative mind set, with an excellent eye for detail for final finishing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work alongside senior members of the business as well as key stake holders. Proven experience of managing interior design within a similar environment is a must, with a working knowledge of the UK Building Regulations. The perfect candidate will have worked on projects directly relating to this one, with multiple luxury and high value hotels projects under their belt.
