Having recently met with this business and several of the leadership team, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a polished company that can offer them good, technical projects and fantastic career progression opportunities.

About the role:

Due to ongoing growth and development, my client is currently recruiting permanently for a Head of Asbestos to lead and manage their environmental department. With sole responsibility of a 35+ multi- functional contracting team delivering asbestos abatement, you will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the asbestos division including planning, implementing and review on contract progress; have involvement in the design and tender stages of pre-contract; maintaining the existing and developing client portfolio and producing accurate quotations and estimates for clients to name just a few duties.

My client is looking for an individual who is fully conversant with all of the relevant processes & procedures but also has the drive and ambition to take the business forward to match the long term, exciting growth plans in place.  This opportunity would suit a Senior Contracts Manager looking to step up or an individual who is already at Divisional Manager level.

About the requirements:

Due to the seniority of this opportunity, it is vital that individuals have proven success of working in a Contracts Management capacity (as a minimum) and this experience should have been gained whilst working for a reputable asbestos contractor in the UK. As this in a permanent position, my client is looking for an individual who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous post for a minimum of 3 years and the successful individual must hold a full UK driving license.

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary for this permanent opportunity has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability. In addition to the salary, there will be generous benefits on offer which are associated with a large but growing, successful contractor.
