Salary – Up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience) + Car Allowance, Pension, Health and Bonus

About the Role:

Having set up a Group Procurement team within the business 3 years ago it has now grown to a size that means the workload is no longer manageable and they need to bring in extra resource. My client is now looking for an experienced coordinator to provide support for the Group Procurement Manager in negotiating and recovering rebates, reviewing group deals, and updating group procurement information.

  • Understanding characteristics of each rebate agreement, gathering supporting information, preparing valuations, negotiating sums due, raising invoices, chasing payments and updating records.
  • Providing supporting information and assisting with analysis of potential group deals.
  • Updating master specifications and group deal information with any amendments or new arrangements being introduced.
  • Assisting with day to day issues relating to products and specification queries.
  • General department administration.
  • Assisting with training and monitoring of the regional teams re group procurement policy.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in Procurement (construction preferable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident team worker with good interpersonal skills.
  • Very organised and a keen eye of detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure.


About the Benefits and Reward:

  • The base package is up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • Company car allowance of £5,000
  • Bonus up to 22.5%
