Graduate Project Manager – External Refurbishment

Our client is market leader in heritage & restoration and prestigious projects. They are looking to recruit a Construction Graduate who has a desire to work towards a Project Management role.

About the Company:

Our client is a well-respected specialist in interior and exterior restoration market across London and the South. They have in excess of 25 years’ experience employing some of the finest specialist trades. They have undertaken projects in the Government, Royal, Residential, Private, Public and Leisure sectors.

About the Role: We are currently looking for a Construction Graduate who will be reporting into the Contracts Manager. You will be trained & mentored in Project Management by senior staff to oversee refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes within the restoration and heritage sector. Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Carry out such duties as instructed by the Project/Contracts Manager
  • Co-ordination of direct and sub-contract and trade labour
  • Quality control across sites
  • Ensure projects meet programme requirements
  • Health and Safety compliance
  • Conduct Site Inductions
  • Maintain and update site records & Site Administration
  • Maintain and update  Health & Safety File
  • Document Control
  • Project Planning
  • Site & Client meetings

About the benefits and rewards: The base package is circa £25,000 – £30,000, a pension and travel allowance. The position would suit a new graduate of someone looking to make their first move in industry.

Requirements:

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related field or have some initial exposure to working in the construction industry coupled with a keen interest in the overall operations and running of a construction business. A keen interest in heritage and conservation would be advantageous.
