Our client is an award winning environmental contractor and consultancy who has over 30 years proven experience in providing specialist advice and undertaking quality site investigation and remediation projects.  Operating across the UK with regional offices in the South East, South West and in the North in addition to offices overseas, our client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, government departments, manufacturers and land and property owners.

About the role:

Due to successful expansion, our client is currently recruiting permanently for a Geo-Environmental Project Manager to be based in Kent. As a Geo-Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking projects from initial design stage through to completion and will involve leading a multi-skilled team, liaising with clients and third parties, undertaking interpretative report writing and ensuring works are carried out in line with health and safety guidelines to name just a few duties.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, the successful individual will hold a degree in an appropriate scientific discipline and will have a minimum of 6 years proven experience in geo-environmental; contaminated land / remediation; including project manager experience whilst working in the UK.

Furthermore, due to the location of projects, it is essential that the successful Geo-Environmental Project Manager hold a full UK driving license.

About the salary / rewards:

For this permanent position, the salary has been left negotiable as it will be defined upon experience and suitability however individuals can expect to target a salary between £30,000 – £37,000. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered; travel allowance OR company vehicle in addition to standard benefits associated with a large successful company (pension, health care, laptop, phone etc.).
