About the company:

Our client is a leading remediation contractor and environmental contracting specialist in the UK, who deliver remediation and groundwork’s projects on contaminated land sites to clients across the construction, industrial and public sectors. Our client covers remediation design, earthwork’s, civil engineering and their diverse projects range in value from tens of thousands to multi million pounds which are successfully undertaken across the UK for various clients including national utility companies, oil companies and residential developers.

About the Role:

As a Geo – Environmental Engineer, you will be degree qualified (in a relevant subject) with at least 2 years’ experience either within a Geo- environmental Consultancy or Remediation Contractor and will be expected to support Site Managers and Contracts Managers. The successful Geo – Environmental Engineer must have a good understanding of detailed remediation technologies; experience in environmental monitoring including soil, gas and water sampling; clarification of historical site investigation data; experience in site investigation (logging, drilling and trial pitting) and good site based experience.

The successful Engineer will be provided with excellent career development opportunities and will be encouraged to gain Chartership status.

Please note: To be considered from this position, Geo – Environmental Engineers must have proven experience of working for a Geo- environmental Consultancy or Remediation Contractor in the UK and due to this clients remit of work, individuals must have a full UK Driving license and be willing to work away from home as/when required.

About the rewards / benefits:

For this role we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere between £20,000 -£35,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. There will be a generous package offered (a fully expensed company vehicle and non – influential pension scheme) in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
