About the company:

Our client is a medium size specialist Consultancy providing Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Contract Administration to a large client base across the UK, specialising in the Private Residential, Commercial, and Retail Mixed Use sectors.

Currently working on a variety of development programmes across London and the Home Counties, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor with experience of working client side to provide Surveying expertise on multiple New Build projects for their impressive, reputable client base.

About the role:

Our client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and immediately add value on contracts across their high profile blue chip clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career with a niche and well-respected Consultancy that will provide work on a high quality portfolio of projects, reporting directly to the Managing Partner.

 

Working predominantly in a client facing capacity you will be involved in a range of pre and post contract surveying duties, including budget estimating, preparation of tender documents, reporting on tenders, assembly of contract documentation, cost reporting, interim valuations and agreement of final accounts.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary will be dependent on experience and level of sector knowledge, however our client will offer a base salary in the region of £60,000 + package.

Also on offer is an invaluable opportunity to work closely with Tier 1 Residential Developers and Retail Developers, in close conjunction with the Consultancy’s Managing Partners.

 

About the requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a variety of sectors including private residential, retail and mixed use, Quantity Surveyor capacity. You will be Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS or CIOB accredited), and ideally 6 years post graduate industry related experience.

 

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing projects and acting in a client-facing capacity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work will be key.
