About the role:

Our client is looking to recruit a roving Engineer to report directly to the Project Manager. You will be happy to travel to multiple locations within the client’s area of operation (London, Home Counties & South East).

Our client is looking for an Engineer who desires to progression into Site & Senior Management. They are continuing to expand within the London and South East region and have recently secured a number of projects. The candidate must have knowledge of building processes within the main contract building environment typically covering education, healthcare, commercial, retail, leisure, residential and specialist projects. Their projects range from £1-£10m with a mixture of New Build and Refurbishment. You will ideally be a Setting Out Engineer with Site/Package Management aspirations.

About the benefits and rewards:

The base package is circa £35,000 – £50,000 and the company’s main ambition is to bring an individual into the organisation with the ability to grow and become a valued member of the team. There will also be a generous benefits package in addition the basic (travel & pension).


About the requirements:

  • Candidates need to be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering to be considered
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ site engineering experience on site, working within build or civils


The client is looking for someone with a formal construction degree / qualification in Engineering and an interest in working within main contracting. It would be preferable if candidates come from a build background but civils related experience will also be considered. Our client wants someone that is Lateral thinking and highly developed problem-solving abilities should be coupled with a very strong academic background.
