About the Client:


Our client was formed over 25 years ago as a specialist concrete frame and groundwork subcontractor. They now operate with an annual turnover around £120 million working for a variety of residential main contractors and developers. Their primary working area is in London, but they have sites as far North as Hertfordshire, as far South as Portsmouth and as far West as Bristol. Usual package values range from £5 million up to £25 million each and include the usual works associated with high-rise concrete frames, foundations / groundworks and civil engineering. They have a strong order book with work secured all the way through 2018 and into next year and are only recruiting this role due to continued growth and a need to add additional support.


About the Role:


Our client require a Document Controller to work from their head office in South London, helping organise and distribute information out to sites.


Your duties will include:


  • Managing & administrating the document control system
  • Uploading of the site drawings
  • Maintaining up to date drawing files & registers
  • Printing, photocopying, collating & issuing of drawings
  • Managing external distribution and recording release of documentation,
  • Managing, recording and distributing incoming documents,
  • Maintaining a central record of documents using codes and performing quality checks on all projects


About the Benefits/Rewards:


The Salary will be dependent on your level and experience. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary of £21,000 to £30,000. It is important you have experience in using Document Control Systems and have worked in this role previously. It is also essential that you have a working knowledge of using Outlook, Word & Excel packages. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and be able to work well on your own and be a team player. And due to the office location, suitable candidates will need to be able to be based and work from our clients head office in South London.
