Salary: £65,000-£90,000 + travel, pension and healthcare

Location: Surrey and West Sussex

About the Company:

This company is a privately owned main contractor with over 25 years’ experience across multiple sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Private Housing, Affordable Housing, Community, Heritage & Special Interest. They completed their first project over two decades ago and have had continued success ever since with 80% of business being from repeat clients. They have 4 regional offices based in Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent with them mainly operating across the south east of England. They work with many clients on a range of projects from £2m-£15m employing 170 staff and over 60 site technicians. The company prides itself on looking after its employees and having a high retention rate, this is evident as a third of the employees have now been with the company for more than 10 years.

This business has had success with twice winning the considerate constructor’s award. They have an average turnover of £70m and continue to grow they are always looking to expand their team and build on their current success.

About the Role:

This client is currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to roam across sites in Surrey and West Sussex. This role is ideally suited to someone who is making the step up from a Projects Manager to a Contracts Manager with a reasonable amount of contractual knowledge. This is a great opportunity for someone to expand their skills and develop themselves along with helping the company develop. The role will consist of looking after multiple sites across different sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Residential.

About the Benefits/rewards:

The exact salary will be dependent on the level of experience the successful applicant has and the sort of projects they have worked on in the past. The company will be offering a basic salary of £65,000 to £90,000 plus various benefits relating to bonuses, travel and healthcare.

Requirements 

The ideal candidate will be someone that is making the transition from a Projects Manager to a Contracts Manager with reasonable contractual knowledge. They will have needed to have worked in similar sectors in the past and worked on similar size projects with only a handful of previous employers.
