Salary – Up to £25,000 Plus Commission, (OTE £40,000 in first year)

About the Role:

This is an exciting role for any ambitious and dynamic individual looking to get into a BD role with previous sales or telesales experience. Working closely with the Group Head of Research as well as the rest of the team, you will be targeted on generating leads or off-market opportunities for the telemarketing team with a high call volume target. Additionally you’ll work closely with the wider BD team to develop and implement clear strategies to gain new business.

You will be responsible for:

·Making appointments for the sales team

·Networking with allied companies and surveyors

·Developing existing client relationships.

·Arrange meetings with potential and existing clients including organising site visits to interested clients/consultants

·Attend regular networking events to raise the profile and awareness of the company.

·Engage in the tracking and following up of business leads through personal contacts as well as the identification of new business leads.

·Take an active role in the communication strategy such as promotional material: brochures, company newsletter, bid support, pre-qualification and client information documents.

·Involvement of the Tender/Bid support function ensuring bid support documents are completed and that the relevant supporting marketing collateral is available, as well as completing any pre-tender documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

·Good existing contact base of key decision makers across the sectors but specifically within the commercial Fit Out sector.

·Ideally at least 2 years of proven track record of success in a Business Development capacity working for a main contractor

·You must have successfully targeted and developed key client relationships in previous roles

·Must have a history of successful lead generation

·You are motivated by financial incentive and have a genuine passion for winning new business.

About the Benefits and Reward:

·The base package is up to £25,000 (depending on experience)

·Competitive commission structure with OTE £40,000 – £50,000

·All travel & expenses paid
