About the company:

Our client are a small multi-disciplinary Building Surveying and Project Management company based in Surrey with an enviable client portfolio that covers High End Residential property construction and development in Central London. Members of the Chartered Institution of Building (CIOB), they primarily act as Project Managers on residential refurbishment and new building projects, as well as also carry out a wide range of building consultancy services.

As project managers for refurbishment, fitting out works and new build, our client is well positioned to offer a full service to their clients, from the selection of the project team and contractor to the coordination of works on site and relocation services. The services they provide are tailored to the client’s requirements, but frequently include the preparation and tendering of a full specification of works, contract administration, CDM coordination and quantity surveying.

 

About the role:

The client’s building consultancy services, in particular, include dealing with party wall matters, dilapidations, licences for alterations and preparing building reinstatement cost assessments.

Due to growth the business our client are actively seeking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join their busy team in supporting High End Residential clients with a variety of building surveying matters, including scheduling of conditions and undertaking residential and commercial building surveys. The role will also include designing and contract administration, as well as doing Stock Condition Surveys as necessary and monitoring projects.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary on offer for this position will be dependent on experience and industry knowledge. The range will include a base salary of between £30,000 to £40,000, and will include an additional, competitive package.

 

About the requirements:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working on Residential New Builds and Refurbs in a Building Surveying capacity. You will have working knowledge of dealing with party wall matters and dilapidations, with an understanding of licences for alterations and preparing building reinstatement cost assessments.

Membership with the CIOB will prove advantageous.
