About the company:

Our privately owned client, who has been established for over 40 years and is based just outside of Central London, is a leading name within the demolition industry, with a group annual turnover in excess of £50M, and solid plans in place for growth over the next 5-10 years. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, groundwork’s, temporary and permanent works and current projects range in value from £500K to £10M.

About the position:

Due to company expansion and a healthy pipeline, our leading client is currently recruiting permanently for an Assistant Project Manager who will be responsible for assisting and shadowing the Project Manager in the planning, management, competition and financial outcome of assigned demolition projects initially in the Midlands, with future projects throughout the UK.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, it is imperative that candidates are degree qualified in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and that they able to demonstrate 2 years post graduate experience within a reputable demolition contractor in the UK. Furthermore, the successful individual must be a strong communicator and have the ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with main contractors and clients.

About the salary / package:

For this permanent position we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
