Our client is a privately owned business specialising in build, refurbishment and fit out with nearly 20 years of business behind them.  Working on buildings varying from office blocks, mansion houses, art galleries and leisure clubs halls, their excellent track record is based on expertise, experience and responsive environment.


About the Role:

Our client is currently looking for a Project Level Quantity Surveyor. They have recently been awarded a number of refurbishment contracts valued up to £5m. They are looking for someone who has a solid permanent work background and has worked for main contractors and is commercially aware to help to deliver these projects. It is essential that you have knowledge of building processes within the main contract building environment typically covering residential, commercial and leisure markets. The surveyor will be expected to take projects from pre-award tender process through to completion. There will be logical, transparent benefits with the development of this role as the success of the business stream develops.   • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
  • Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  • Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Performing risk and value management and cost control
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors


About the Benefits/Rewards:

The base package is circa £40,000 – £65,000 and the company main ambition is to bring an individual into the organisation with the ability to grow and become a valued member of the team. There will also be a generous benefits package in addition the basic salary which will include Car, Health and Pension.



The client is looking for someone with a main contract background. You must be driven and have a hard work ethic.  You must also have a structured permanent career. It would be preferable that you have a formal construction degree / qualification in Quantity Surveying.
