Health and Safety Advisor

Our client is a large Main Contractor, New Housing Construction company based in and around the London area. Working in a variety of large projects such as luxury apartments and buildings and have expanded massively within recent years.

The company has enjoyed a large amount of success in recent years all over the UK, resulting in a growing business with a long list of upcoming projects. They have proven expertise in their fields, producing the best available quality.


About the role:

Due to excellent growth and changes within the business they have decided to recruit for a new position.

The role that has become available is that of Health and Safety Advisor to cover all areas of Health and Safety at their Central London office and surrounding sites.

This opportunity is excellent for someone who is looking to develop their skills within Health and Safety.

The main duties of the role will include, office based and field based duties, providing health and safety support of development plans to management teams. Also includes carrying out regular visits to sites and offices to advisor on health and safety procedures. Will need to attend and lead regular meetings where Health and Safety input in needed.

Another duty of the role with largely involves mentoring and coaching to ensure health and safety practises are being delivered.

The role is also involved in daily duties such as site inductions, collecting all training records and updating the paperwork.

The role would ideally suit someone who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure and ability in working in a team and alone.


Requirement Information

The candidate needs to have experience within the Health and Safety in the Construction Industry.

Recognised Nebosh Qualification.

Good IT skills.

Excellent communication and team work skills.
