Development Manager– Residential Developer

Salary – Up to £70,000 (Depending on Experience) + Car Allowance + Package

About the Role:

Our client is seeking to recruit an ambitious, commercial, innovative, passionate Development Manager with experience in high quality residential development to strengthen their established business and to join a team that strive for excellence and want to be at the top of their sector. The position is based in East Essex but will require the individual to travel across the County regularly as projects are wide spread. This is a good opportunity for an individual that is seeking experience within a local developer. Other duties include:

  • This individual will be responsible to the team and will co-ordinate the delivery of various residential design & build projects ranging in value providing Project Manager / Development Manager Services through their technical and design experience on residential new build schemes.
  • This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with great attention to detail who can take ownership and overall responsibility for project delivery and provide a high level of internal service. This individual will ensure information is produced, checked and distributed on programme to exacting standards and within budget.
  • Experience in all stages of the development management from feasibility to delivery would be ideal for this role and the candidate would preferably have worked extensively on private residential developments. This is a role which will suit an individual that has the ambition and drive to develop and grow this side of the business.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years technical development management delivery experience
  • professionally qualified in a relevant construction related subject
  • In-depth knowledge of the private residential sector
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to challenging deadlines
  • A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, passionate and ambitious.
