Cityscape Recruitment Stepped it up for Marine Conservation Society

The day has been and gone where our intrepid Cityscape Recruitment team embarked on a 14.5mile walk along the Jurassic Coast to raise money and awareness in aid of the Marine Conservation Society, one of our named charities who we have actively supported for some time, click here to read more.

The walk was a challenge in itself starting at Worth Matravers and finishing 14.5miles later at South Haven Point but what made it more challenging was the rain and the 50mph wind speeds.

The very muddy and wet start

Even with the blustering wind, the mud slides and the blisters formed, the team found it extremely demanding in parts but thoroughly enjoyable. There were jokes and songs along the way to keep the laughter and morale up all while being able to take in the breathtakingly beautiful scenery.

The last stretch along the picturesque Studland Beach

Our aim was to raise £1500 but so far, we have been able to raise an incredible £1767.00 (£2002.50 with gift aid), thank you so much to all of our sponsors for your support, your donations have gone to a very worthy cause. It is fair to say, the team are extremely proud of their achievement, especially in the weather conditions they were faced with.
