Annual Christmas Trip to visit Bibic!

It’s now a yearly tradition to forfeit getting our clients gifts and use what we would have spent to buy Christmas presents for the children who visit bibic.

Each year, we work closely with the team at bibic to ensure the gifts we get would not only be fun for the children to use but also benefited their therapy sessions. And, hopefully, make a positive difference in the time the children spend at the charity. This year a lot of books were on the list along with ‘Viperating’ snakes – we had a very entertaining google search looking for these!! – and some cuddly toys.

On Thursday, 8th December, a group of Cityscapers wrapped up in Christmas jumpers and headed to the Somerset countryside with their car laden with gifts. With the current cold snap, we were treated to a very icy-looking Stonehenge en route. We had a warm welcome from the team and got to spend some time with a lovely little boy who happily opened all the gifts on bibic’s behalf. He did a fantastic job and even organised all the books into categories. After the gifts were all opened and organised we enjoyed playing a few rounds of Pop-up Pirate. The concentration among the players was epic! 

We had a wonderful day. To once again see what they do first-hand and the impact it has, we are honoured to help where we can with such an inspiring charity. We look forward to continuing working with them in 2023.
