My client is a polished, well-respected, and technically brilliant principal contractor who specialise in many different aspects of Civil Engineering. My client is currently turnover £420M and they work in highways, bridges, rail, RC frames, groundworks, demolition, and remediation. The projects they get involved in can range in value from £1.2M – £100M+.

About the opportunity

Due to ongoing growth and a very healthy pipeline of work, my client is actively looking for a graduate Quantity Surveyor or a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to support the Senior Quantity Surveyor. The types of projects you will be getting involved in will be highway infrastructure and bridge infrastructure. This will involve lots of concrete structures, groundworks, and earthworks. The projects will range up to £15M per scheme.

This is a superb opportunity for someone looking for training, progression, development, and an opportunity to have a brilliant career. You will be supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor by chasing payments, reviewing drawing revisions; measure, cost, and present project variations as well as assisting in the preparation of RFIs, CVIs, and delay notices.

Requirements 

A degree within a construction-related subject or a mathematic/economical related degree.

I need someone who is switched on, a team player and career motivated.

You’ll also need a full UK driver’s license to allow to get from the office to the construction site and to other locations you might require to visit.
