Temporary Works Design Engineer / Manager – RC Frames & Groundworks

North West London

£60,000 – £90,000 + Package

(£250 – £400 per day + benefits – if self-employed)

About the Opportunity:

Based out of our client’s head office in North West London we are looking for someone capable of designing and planning temporary works on a variety of residential & commercial projects while working for the specialist concrete frame and groundwork contractor.

This role will report directly to our client’s technical director and will have involvement on live projects as well as at the pre-construction phases.

Usual duties will apply such as developing methodologies and temporary works designs, carrying out detailed complex engineering designs and providing technical leadership and support to a variety of teams with in the business.

About the Requirements:

Suitable candidates will need to come from either a degree qualified civil engineering or structural engineering background. Experience will need to have been gained from either a site engineering or a design / CAD background with ideally already a progression into temporary works coordination, design or management.

It is also crucial that candidates have worked for rival groundwork, concrete frame or civil engineering subcontractors to be considered. An understanding of this packages is a must.

Other package experience will include a working understanding of systems such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and possibly design packages such as Revit.
