About the Opportunity

Due to ongoing company growth, our client is looking to expand their in-house temporary works team on-site and is therefore recruiting permanently for an engineer to provide design engineering services within the Temporary Works Design Team. Reporting directly to the Principle Designer, you will be competent in the production of temporary works within the RC frame, groundwork, substructure and basement construction sectors and will represent the company at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers.

About the Benefits and Rewards

For this permanent position, my client is targeting construction professionals looking to earn anywhere from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.

About the Requirements

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should hold suitable tertiary qualifications and be accredited by a professional body or working towards a full chartership. Additionally, you will have a vast working knowledge of the current ‘Euro’ code design standards, hold a minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience in the design of temporary works within the groundwork & concrete frame sector, and have good knowledge of the use of AutoCAD / 3D Modelling. Chartered candidates would be preferable but would consider the strong experience in lieu of chartered status.
