About the opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be accountable for the Planning, Temporary Works, BIM and Quality Assurance functions at Head Office, as well as being responsible for Engineering appointments on projects. As you will be responsible for delivering services, you’ll need to show ability in looking for ways to maximise the value of working together by building support, providing focus and giving direction to deliver joint outcomes. You will hold the temporary work delegated individual role for the UK and technical lead for the UK Business. Promoting and driving continuous improvements within your team should be accomplished by pursuing a “can-do” attitude in all the work you deliver. Identifying opportunities to form collaborative business relationships, alongside reviewing the performance of the projects against the collaborative working procedure.

About the Requirements:

You will need a minimum of 2 years experience working for a UK Civil Engineering contractor and must have previously led a multidisciplinary design and build project at Engineering Manager level. Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and best practices along with expertise in temporary works is essential and chartership status is preferrable.
