About the company

Our Client is a Tier One main contractor, with a worldwide presence turning over £20B + a year. They have offices worldwide; in the UK, their head office is based in the West Country and they have local depots based in London, the West Midlands and Yorkshire. They tender on work on major schemes such as Silvertown Tunnel, HS2, London Power Tunnels and Crossrail. The types of works are all heavy Civil Engineering and large infrastructure schemes covering rail, highways, bridges and tunnelling.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director as the Contracts Manager or Technical  Manager, you will be based on major infrastructure projects throughout the UK and will be accountable for parts of delivery such as Temporary Works, BIM, Engineering, Quality Assurance but you will also be in charge of all of the planning functions. The team that you will be working for are a fun but professional team. The key responsibilities for this role involve ensuring the business management system is effective, identifying and building client relationships and ensuring all engineering resource meets internal and external requirements.

About the Requirements:

To be considered for this role, individuals must have a strong background within the UK infrastructure industry, covering; RC structures, temporary works, deep drainage and major earthworks.  Ideally the successful individual will be degree qualified in a construction related discipline or similar. Experience and understanding of engineering, BIM, quality and planning within a Tier One Main Contract Environment is vital. Due to the fact this is a permanent position it’s essential you can show strong stability through out your career.
