Historically they have focused on acquiring land in the greater London area, however recently plans have involved scaling up land acquisition identifying sites in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Whilst focusing on developing the contracting arm they are dramatically expanding the development and partnerships divisions.

Due to this it’s more than an exciting time to join the business who with the appointments of a new Managing Director for Housebuilding; Finance Director and Land Team are aiming to more than double turnover in the next five years, increasing output to 400 new homes per year.

About the opportunity:

Whilst you will be working within an established business this is one of the first Technical Coordinator positions for this expanding Housebuilding division.

They have successfully secured their first project in Hertfordshire which started this month under the new expansion plans which is a £12million traditional build development of 52 units. Another three sites have been secured starting in 2021 one of which you will be responsible for. You will be taking ownership of a brand new scheme in Hatfield, Hertfordshire of 87 units including a house and 4 blocks of low rise traditional build flats. Design starts towards the end of March with the site going live mid September 2021.

As a Technical Coordinator you will be reporting to the new Senior Technical Manager heading up the department responsible for the delivery of all technical and design information.

About the benefits and rewards:

In general, salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries will be set at a mutually agreeable level with set parameters to increase in line with performance. In this instance, the company are looking to pay up to £55,000 basic salary plus package.

About the requirements:

This is a vital position for the business therefore individuals must be Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or something similar. We are looking for experienced individuals from a Housebuilding background working specifically for a Residential Developer on traditional housebuilding schemes who can hit the ground running.

Professionals must have excellent technical knowledge and understanding of design procedures; be experienced liaising effectively with consultants and subcontractors; have the ability to report effectively to internal stakeholders; a proven track record of successfully managing time and costs; and proven delivery in achieving the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental controls.
