About the role:

The role will involve the management and coordination of all technical information relating to the running of a number high end, bespoke family homes developments, from the planning stage through to completion. This will include the following general accountabilities:

  • Supporting the Technical Manager  with Land Appraisal details and the development of Planning Applications Developing and Coordinating all required Technical Information for tender purposes
  • Supporting the Technical Manger/Director with the procurement of Service delivery, Civil Engineering details, foundations, etc
  • The production of accurate detailed information in line with programmes and budgets
  • Providing Health & Safety Information
  • Providing support for all internal and external parties and responding to queries
  • Supporting the Technical Manager/Director with the delivery of Technical and Design information required for land appraisals and the Submission of Planning Applications.
  • Coordination of external consultants in the production of technical details and drawings required
  • Achieving Building Control Approvals
  • Clearance of Planning Conditions through the development.
  • Coordination and preparation of working drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Preparation of full Production & Sales release packs. 
  • Check and review all technical details and reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Attend all requisite external and internal meetings, including regular development progress meetings.
  • Maintaining an awareness of new legislation and procedures that affect the Technical aspects of the Company’s business

About the requirements:

  • HND/HNC in Building Studies/Construction or equivalent
  • Good level of IT literacy with experience in AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Experience in technical aspects of house building / Building Regulations
  • An understanding of Planning Legislation
  • Construction Design & Management Regulations
  • Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector. In this instance, they are looking to pay up to £55,000 basic plus package.
