About the company:

It’s our pleasure to be working with One of the UKs leading and most successful housebuilders. The business in general structure has two balanced divisions and delivers regeneration from the partnerships division, together with larger scale communities from the strategic land led housebuilding division. This company has excellent visibility through the partnerships pipeline and housebuilding land bank, an impressive track record of winning new business, an increasing scale with an established platform for growth and a strong balance sheet with capacity for growth.

Having always being committed to having offices and regions local to development areas due to successful growth and to manage the expansion of operations south of the river they opened a new Housebuilding region couple of years ago in Kent and recently opened a new Housebuilding office in Hertfordshire. Part of the business strategy for this housebuilder is to expand its partnerships business and recently they have acquired a housebuilder specifically focused in this area therefore increasing the scale of the division and further accelerating growth. This broadens the geographical growth of the business and provides a strong strategic and cultural fit to the current model of the business.

This particular opportunity is for the partnerships division (talked about above) operating in outer London, West Midlands and North West England and specialises in urban regeneration of public sector land delivering private and affordable homes in partnership with local authorities and housing associations. With a current land bank of circa 15,000 plots and circa 5,000 awarded as a preferred bidder this company has a further 40,000 plots identified as bid opportunities therefore have a strong pipeline of future workload to keep you going!

About the role:

The technical team are integral to the housebuilding process, taking architectural designs and transforming them into detailed drawings for construction teams to be able to build. The technical team is essential through the housebuilding process, and will be involved from the very beginning, at tender stage and will see the build all the way through to completion and handover to customers.

About the requirements:

  • A Degree in a Technical & Design related qualification
  • Background in either Architecture or Engineering
  • Residential experience with either a Residential Developer/Housebuilder or Contractor
  • A perceptive individual who, through a natural diplomacy, can influence people in a changing environment.
  • A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organized and can operate independently under a broad direction.
  • A team builder who can develop and maintain good relationships and gain the confidence of other professionals both within the Company and outside.
  • A broad thinker who can take a global view and has an inherent ability to ‘get the job done’.

About the benefits and rewards:

In general salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries might be set below the market level, and subject to performance, increased as the employee gains experience over time. In this instance the company are looking to pay:

·Up to £55,000 basic salary
