About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor to join their London based HSEQ team to support the process of keeping their product sustainable and in line with BREEAM, WELL & Fitwell requirements. This focussed and skilled individual will be tasked with working independently to: Review incoming tender specifications for BREEAM or WELL compliance whilst developing and implementing initiatives to improve the company’s sustainability performance focussing on wellbeing, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, material sourcing & toxicity & circular economy.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a step into a mid-sized contractor with a defined progression plan and opportunity for personal development and vertical progression. I will suit someone who is highly passionate about sustainable construction with at least 3 years’ experience as sustainability consultant or in a construction sustainability/environmental management role who is looking for an opportunity to progress to the next level.

About the benefits / rewards: The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary around £45,000 – £60,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.


Requirements: Candidates must have direct and relatable industry experience with at least 2-3 years’ experience in similar construction sustainability/environmental management role. They will ideally be a Practitioner or Full Member of IEMA, have a relatable degree and have worked for or on behalf of a construction main contractor. They will require a Detailed understanding of the BREEAM, WELL etc. Assessment Process and be able to bring fresh ideas to the table in regard to implementing initiatives to improve the company’s sustainability performance
