About the role

This is a superb opportunity for an individual with 4/5 years of highways or civil engineering experience to take the next step in their career. You will be part of a team with a strong structure currently put in place, a team with a wealth of experience and a team that is continuing to grow due to work load increasing. The company are looking for a Sub Agent to work on highways projects throughout Surrey. You will have to check engineering drawings/specifications, identifying and resolving design conflicts.

You will be in charge of undertaking management of Section Engineers and Site Engineers whilst you work closely and report directly to the Project Manager. The projects that you will be involved in will involve several different aspects of infrastructure and maintenance within a highways and bridge environment. The works you will cover will consist of earthworks, kerbing, pavements, drainage, concrete works, infrastructure and groundwork’s.

No Freelances will be considered for this role.

Civil Engineering Qualification – Degree level or equivalent

Site management experience

Background working on highways projects for a Tier One or Tier Two contractor.
