About the opportunity:

Due to company expansion, my client is recruiting permanently for a Soils Treatment Facilities Operator. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the management of the daily operations of the Soil Treatment Facility in Leeds. You will assist with the overall management of the treatment of primarily hydrocarbon impacted soil and organic materials from reception, throughout the treatment process, to the final validation and disposal of the treated materials. This opportunity  includes supporting with the management of Health and Safety, Environmental monitoring and control and liaising with third-party clients and contractors.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, my client is looking to offer a salary between £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.  Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company plus as this is a thriving business, excellent career development opportunities are available.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Environmental or Waste sector and hold a relevant degree / HND. Additionally, you will be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and hold an SSSTS/SMSTS.
