About the Company:

Our privately-owned client who is based in Central London is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £110M. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, earthworks and concrete works and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust.

At present, our client has secured over £40M worth of work for this year, with further workload in the pipeline. With a low staff turnover, this specialist subcontractor rarely recruits and this opportunity has arisen purely due to company expansion and a healthy pipeline of work. Our client is also known for its high standards in health and safety which has been demonstrated by winning the World Demolition Awards 2017 in Safety and Training. This is just one example of the many awards they won over the last year.

About the position:

Due to healthy order books and continued company growth, our client is seeking to recruit a CCDO Gold Card Site Supervisor to work on various projects in and around Central London. Working as a site supervisor you will be joining the companies’ demolition division and will be responsible for the day to day supervision of a site, ensuring work is carried out in accordance and time with the programme whilst also making sure standards are maintained, including health & safety.

About the requirements:

To be considered for these positions, individuals must have the following:

First Aid Certificate (4 Day)
CCDO Gold Card (5-day supervision course)
Asbestos Awareness

In addition to the above, it is essential that individuals have a strong background in demolition and this experience must have been gained whilst working for a subcontractor in the UK. Additionally, as these are permanent positions, I am looking for individuals who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career.

Please note: Due to the ever-changing locations of this client’s demolition projects, it is essential that individuals hold a full UK driving license.

About the benefits and rewards:

For these permanent positions we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, a fully expensed company van will be provided in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful contractor.
