About the company

My client is a multi-disciplined, cash-rich, well known sub-contractor who is currently turning over £75M per annum. They specialise primarily within the water (wastewater and clean water) and infrastructure areas of civil engineering, with offices in North London, Kent, and on the south coast (this role will be based on-site covering London & South East).

This position has come about due to continued and strategic ongoing growth but while the business is looking to expand they are also keen to maintain their family feel and atmosphere, where it’s a fun working environment and everyone, is treated as a name, not a number, with the respect from the directors across the company.

About the role

The company is looking for a Site Supervisor to work on their Thames Water contract in London & Kent. The successful professional will be expected to operate and promote a high standard of health and safety by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all aspects of the works. You will need to ensure current and future work activities are planned and resources (labour, plant, and material) are available. On top of this, you will need to provide, monitor, and control, labour, plant, and materials to meet the programme.

The projects that you’ll be involved in will be non-infrastructure reservoir repair and maintenance projects.

No Freelances will be considered for this role.

The company also has a great reputation within the water market and a very healthy pipeline, this opportunity offers you long-term stability with numerous projects.

You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary of £30,000 – £38,000 + a company car or car allowance.

  • Ideally, the successful candidate would need experience working in the water sector.
  • Site agent experience working for a sub-contractor or a main contractor.
  • Background working on utility-related projects.
