Site Supervisor

£50,000 – £60,000 + Package

About the company

My client is a well-established surfacing contractor with a superb reputation across England. With a turnover of £25M and over 30 years of experience as a company, they are now in a superb position to reinvest into the business and continue its growth. They specialise in surfacing and work within the residential, commercial, local borough, and industrial sectors. The projects they work on range from £1M – £4M.

About the opportunity

Due to the company expanding and winning several surfacing contracts throughout the UK they are now looking for a Site Supervisor to support the project manager. The projects that you will be involved in will be surfacing within a road and highways environment.

The successful candidate will need to construct and deliver the allocated section of work within a specified time frame with correctly allocated resources. You’re going to need to optimise outputs and reduce the need for overtime working to allow all colleagues to keep a good working pattern throughout the week. It’s important to note that you’ll also need to ensure safety compliances and promote safe working practices. As the potential new Site Supervisor, you will be in charge of monitoring construction activity on-site and make sure that they meet up to the quality standards put in place.

Benefits and rewards

The company is huge on personal development, progression, and long-term stability. You’ll be working for a company where they want you to work up the ladder and progress through the company.

You’ll be rewarded with a very competitive salary which ranging from £50,000- £60,000 + package.

It is important to have at least 10 years experience working within Surfacing as a Site Supervisor and to show good long-term stability at the companies you have worked for.

You’ll also need a full UK driver’s license to allow to get from the office to the construction site and to other locations you might require to visit.
