About the company:

My client is a tier one main contractor who work worldwide, they are a leading name within infrastructure, utilities and rail turning over £1B. Despite being a Tier One worldwide contractor, they are also a family run company and still have that family feel to them. They specialise within rail, water, gas, power, highways and construction. Due to their high profile within Civil Engineering and their high standard of work this has led to an extremely healthy pipeline of work for 2021. Some of the contracts they are working on are HS2, Thames Water and CP6. As well as these contracts they also have several smaller and private civil engineering projects across London.

About the role

Due the company expanding and winning some large frameworks in London, they are now looking for a Site Manager to support the project manager. The projects that you will be involved in will be clean water infrastructure.

The successful candidate will need to oversee direct crews and subcontractors on site, in their day to day activities, to ensure completion of all works to a high standard and specific specifications. You are going to need to optimise outputs and reduce the need for overtime working to allow all colleagues to keep a good working pattern throughout the week. It is important to note that you’ll also need to ensure safety compliances and promote safe working practices. As the potential new Site Manager, you will be liaising with client’s and Stakeholders on site, providing excellent customer service to meet and exceed the client’s expectations.

About the requirements

You will need to have had experience delivering clean water infrastructure projects in a Site Management position.

You will not be considered for this position is you don’t have a stable career within the water industry working as a Site Manager.

A UK driving license is mandatory for this role.
